MyTreasure is FREE program which enables you to easily create your list
of pre-loved treasure complete with pictures.

The MyTreasure program is available for FREE for
you to download. No fees and no charges when you host your own files using free space on the internet.
The different ways to use
MyTreasure
MyTreasure
helps you to put together a list of your pre-loved treasure and produces the list as a
web page saved on your computer's hard disk.
You can then:

Print out the page and give it to people
you know.

Print out the page and pin the page to a noticeboard at work.

Open the page using Microsoft Word and
email the page to your family and friends.

Upload the files to
free web space on the internet and then email everyone you know with a link to your page.

Optionally take advantage of our low cost hosting and
upload the files with a click of a button. You can
let all your family and friends know by sending them a link to your page and we'll also help
by promoting your page.
The approach you use is entirely up to you.
Overview on using
MyTreasure
-
Download and run the MyTreasure program
which enables you to organise your items using your computer. You can change,
add and delete items whenever you like. Then when you are happy with your changes, upload
your updated information and pictures.

Locate free space on the internet which
is generally available from your ISP.

Upload the files. (
You don"t have to upload your page to the internet, but it does make it easy for
your family and friends to know what you have.)

Send an email with a link to your page to all your family and
friends inviting them to check out your items. Invite them to let you know
about their pre-loved treasure.

Sell, swap, or give away your items.

Sit back and enjoy your new found space,
that feeling of an uncluttered house that you once knew. Relish the idea
you've now also helped yourself, others and the planet.
Detailed steps on
using MyTreasure
Let's get started.

Click here to
download the program MyTreasure.exe. (Save the program into a new folder.)
NOTE: Windows XP and Vista blocks downloaded executable files to stop them from
running. Right click on the MyTreasure.exe file, select Properties and then click
on Unblock. Now you can run the program. (Even though we have checked the
program to ensure there are no virus infections, we recommend you also scan the program.)
MyTreasure requires the .NET framework files which in many cases are already installed on many computers.
If the .NET framework files are not installed on your computer you will get an error message when you run MyTreasure.
You can download the files from the Microsoft web site
using the following link. (Microsoft
.NET Framework files.)

Run MyTreasure.exe.

Enter the settings.

Take pictures of all your items and
store the pictures in the data folder which has been created for you in the folder where you saved MyTreasure.exe).
Your items will look great with pictures, but pictures are optional. (Make sure pictures are saved as jpg,
as small as possible in size (under 20KB in size is a good size), and have a maximum width of 160 pixels.)

Enter your items and select the
picture for each item.>

View your items using the View
option in MyTreasure.

Now copy all the files in the data folder to your
free space on the internet. (For those who have paid for hosting all that is required is to click
on the option to upload the files.)

Check your page on the internet to make
sure everything is OK for others to see.

Send an email with a link to your page to all your family and
friends inviting them to check out your items.

MyTreasure is a free service, but
unfortunately we cannot provide free support. If you require paid support you are welcome to contact me.
A manual will also be available in the near future for those who want to know
a little more about MyTreasure.

Hosting
MyTreasure has been designed if you do things yourself there is no cost.
Hosting of your page is an option which is available. This provides the extra benefit of taking advantage of
our excellent presence on the internet and we share some of that energy with you.
Price: $14.95 - for three months of hosting (with inclusion in search engine).
Search Engine
Want to host your own page, but also want to be included in the search engine. No problems.
Price: $9.95 - for three months inclusion in the search engine.
